Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a Manager Behavioral Health for our facility to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:
Manages resources and provides leadership to accomplish departmental goals involving clinical aspects, i.e. Licensed Professional Counselors, Social Workers, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, Activity Therapist.
The Manager of Behavioral Health services supervises care for all inpatient programs. Collaborates effectively, courteously, and professionally with physicians, nurses, patients' families and other clinical disciplines in decisions regarding each patient's nursing care. Attends monthly Leadership meetings as appropriate.
Must be able to interact appropriately with patients and peers. Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
What qualifications you will need:
Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW). Three (3) years of progressive management experience with at least six (6) years of hospital experience preferred.
Graduate of accredited school of social work AND licensed clinical social worker with a current licensure as a LCSW in the State of Texas.
Licensure in the appropriate mental health field as required.
Corpus Christi Medical Center is a 630+ bed healthcare system of hospitals in Corpus Christi and the surrounding Coastal Bend community. Radiation Oncology offers advanced technology for treating cancer with the latest and most specific radiation therapies available. Our programs focus on the needs of individual patients, while employing the latest techniques and research of 21st-century medicine.
