This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the Combat Identification - Friendly Force Tracking Branch Chief to manage resources, priorities, and activities to ensure execution and completion of tasks consistent with Directorate goals and objectives.Qualifications: You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector:
- Expert knowledge for guiding and assessing the Friendly Force Tracking Section.
- Utilizing the Planning and Programming, and Budgeting System to influence requirements, procurement, and resourcing investment decisions.
- Managing and disbursing a budget to maintain and improve theater posture.
- Identifying applications, to include Command and Control concepts and systems and Common Operational Picture to develop problem-solving approaches, funding, AND PROGRAM goals.
