Community Counseling Solutions is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our growing team for our Umatilla County offices and facilities.
This is a full-time, 40 hour a week position and will provide maintenance services and performs work required for the care and upkeep of Community Counseling Solutions properties located in Umatilla County, Oregon. Duties include lawn and landscape maintenance, maintaining sanitary conditions by routinely keeping the facilities clean and safe, assisting in maintaining the equine assisted therapy facilities, and has knowledge of underground sprinkler systems. Successful candidates must have the ability to interact and relate to customers, staff, managers, and this position requires the handling of highly confidential information and must adhere to rules and laws pertaining to client confidentiality.
Successful applicants must possess:
• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a current driver's license and have personal auto insurance coverage of $300,000 in bodily injury and $100,000 in property damage.
• Proof of covid vaccine or approved religious or medical exemption upon hire.
Wages for this rewarding position start at $17.07 an hour, but could be more based on experience, up to $23.56. CCS offers a substantial benefit package which includes, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, generous PTO.
DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision the employee proVides both outside and inside maintenance
services required for the care and upkeep of Lakeview Heights secure residential
treatment facility and other Community Counseling Solutions properties. This is a non
exempt position.

Supervision Received
Position is supervised by the Facility Administrator or, in their absence the Assistant
Facility Administrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide maintenance services required for the upkeep of Lakeview Heights secure
residential treatment facility. Work may also be performed at other CCS locations as
needed. These services will include but are not limited to:
Lawncare
Development and maintenance of landscaping
Weed cOntrol
Building and maintenance of fencing
Maintenance of Equine Assisted Therapy facility
Maintenance of underground sprinkler systems
Internal building maintenance
Reports any suspected violations or clients rights or abuse of a client by another client or
a staff member according to policies and OAR's regarding mandatory reporting. Such
reporting is required for, but is not limited to, suspected incidents of physical assault,
neglect of care, sexual exploitation of financial exploitation, which may also include
borrowing or removing property from the home.
Attends staff meetings as scheduled.
Follows the policies and procedures of Community Counseling Solutions.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALFICATIONS
Education and Experience
This position must have a high school diploma or equivalent, must pass all criminal
history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with
OAR 410-007-0200 through 410-007-0380, and have a current drivers' license.
General knowledge and experience in landscaping, lawn care, and maintenance of
underground sprinkler systems is required. Additionally, experience in the building and
maintenance of fences and outbuildings as well as experience in the internal maintenance
of facilities is also required.

laws, administrative rules and regulations and agency policies, and develop and maintain

Good organizational and time management skills are essential.
Must have the ability to work well with teams and other groups of individuals.
Must hold a valid drivers license and be insurable or carry insurance for client service
purposes and for travel between business offices, the community, and to attend required
meetings and/or trainings.
PHYISCAL DEMANDS
This position requires an individual to be able to report to work as scheduled and to be
somewhat flexible in work hours as projects and work will fluctuate. Requires the ability
to climb, bend, stoop, push, ability to lift 100 lbs, pull, stand and walk for extended.
periods of time. Work can be strenuous so knowledge and use of safe physical practices
to avoid injury are required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Worked will be performed on at Lakeview Heights secure residential treatment facility in
Heppner, Oregon or other Community Counseling Solutions properties. Most work
performed will be outside; on occasion inside maintenance work will be required. Work
environment cannot be predicted and employee may be required to work in all weather
conditions, all temperatures, and inside or outside the facility.
