A well known company is looking to add a Plant Maintenance Technicianto their team. Do you have 2+ years experience performing preventative maintenance inspections and other diagnostic and repairs in a plant setting?
This position is a short-term assignment, with the possibility of a long-term temp-to-hire possibility for the right candidate!
As a Plant Maintenance Technicianyou are responsible for the daily upkeep of equipment on site, responding to any system failures, taking corrective actions to repair the equipment, and making sure all systems are operational and functioning safely and effectively. Day to day operations can involve maintaining and repairing balers, conveyor belts, gearboxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts and bearings. As the technician, you must respond to all system failures, taking the appropriate corrective actions, ensuring equipment is functional and operational in a safe and timely manner.
Plant Maintenance Technician Duties:
- Performs repairs in accordance with company safety rules and OSHA requirements
- Performs preventitive maintenance inspections (pm); diagnoses, repairs, and rebuilds major equipment/components
- Maintains DEI (Daily Equipment Inspections) backlog
- Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises Sr. Plant Maintenance Manager
- Inspects the quality of third-party repairs and/or rebuilds
Plant Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Have knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems
- Have knowledge of electrical control and hydraulic systems
- Have knowledge of pneumatic systems, including air compressors
- Diagnose defects and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-3:30pm
