Position Summary*
The Maintenance Technician I performs diversified maintenance duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support the business goals and objectives.

Ownership*
- Perform all assigned preventative work order task safely and in a timely manner.
- Complete work entries in CMMS system for downtime tracking.
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production operations.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of machines.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust machines.
- Document all machine malfunctions to track machine efficiency.
- Perform routine visual inspections of machinery and equipment.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report findings or solutions to supervisor.
- Follow safety policy and procedures to include, but not limited to, lock out-tag-out, hot work permit and confined spaces.
- Must be willing to work alternating shifts including nights and weekends.
- Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
- This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality.

Qualifications*
- Applicants must have a High school diploma or Trade or vocational school diploma; or three years of maintenance related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- All applicants must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and perform basic mathematical functions.
