The Maintenance Tech I is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. The Maintenance Tech will work closely with the Production lines and must ensure prompt and efficient work in order to maintain production. This position will work the hours listed above, but may also be called in outside of those hours.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Respond timely and complete maintenance work orders
- Report the need for materials and tools to the Maintenance Team Lead
- Perform tasks on prevention work orders in include; lubrication, visual inspection, changing of filters, belts etc.
- Perform all duties in a safe & efficient manner in accordance with all safety compliance programs
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
- High School diploma or GED preferred
Experience:
- One year previous maintenance experience
- Previous experience in Manufacturing preferred
- Previous experience reading schematics and blueprints
Computer Skills:
- Proficient with MS Office
- Experience using a CMMS system preferred
