Maintenance & Reliability Engineer
Qualified candidate is expected to analyze product failures for root causes, proposes corrective actions, prepares failure and analysis reports, and maintains reliability control database on product success/failure history. Utilizes statistical methods such as linear regression and standard deviation to evaluate compliance with reliability numerical requirements. Participates in design reviews and Product Support Analysis's (PSAs) of new products and continues review of proposed changes affecting product baseline data. Direct experience in all Product Assurance & Test competency areas, program management, logistics engineering, and or systems engineering. Will serve as a technical lead for Condition Based Maintenance Plus (CBM+) / Prognostics Predictive Maintenance (PPMx) / Predictive Logistics. Reviews preliminary reports and waivers, deviations, and engineering change proposals for compliance with contractual requirements and presents to DCASMA-QARS for concurrence and transmittal. Duties will include assisting a government task lead in the following tasks:
- Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring of test activities at various test sites, including resolution of test execution issues, tracking of test progress, and monitoring vehicle data buses, data loggers, and secure wireless data transfer operations.
- Performs analysis of vehicle test data at different echelons and recommends software solutions to digitize data into maintenance actions.
- Responsible for the development of program's CBM+ strategy, approach, process, schedule, and resource requirements. In addition, managing the implementation of an evaluation methodology and framework for product/system under test.
- Support the evaluation of commercial and government developed technology solutions for application across PEO CS&CSS platforms and support hands-on soldier evaluation of these technologies.
- Review and analyze system performance against design requirements for the application and integration of improved components/systems.
- Develop and present data for reviews that will provide timely and accurate reporting of test program status to internal/external customers.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Process Engineering with 5 years related reliability engineering experience.
Requirements:
- Must be a US citizen, the applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a secret security clearance.
Travel:
- Travel up to 10% to test sites in support of related meetings and test events
