Description
Review and analyze retail customer warranty claim data from GM dealer Global Warranty Management (GWM) system for North America (U.S., Canada, and Mexico) Region, reporting and diagnosing OnStar infotainment and telematics Electronic Control Unit (ECU) and features issues in Transmission Control Protocol (TCP or OnStar Core Module), Vehicle Communication Platform (VCP), Virtual Cockpit Unit (VCU), and low radio hardware and software, for failures such as OnStar no-connect, dropped calls, and lack of service in 5G New Radio (5G NR), 4G Long Term Evolution (4G LTE) and Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (3G UMTS). Develop and present Issues Per Thousand Vehicles (IPTV) warranty reports with engineering and root cause analysis in bi-weekly meetings with Senior Manager Global Connectivity Development, Director- Connectivity Engineering, and Director- Infotainment and Displays. Set up part review meetings with Tier 1 suppliers of hardware and software to raise issues, identify root cause, publish issues into Problem Resolution and Tracking System (PRTS), and work on ticket resolution.
Additional Description
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, and one (1) year of experience as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: analyzing or troubleshooting Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) to reduce failures such as no-connect, dropped calls, and lack of service in 4G Long Term Evolution (4G LTE),
