Job Description
In this role the Maintenance Planner will join the Facilities & Engineering team responsible for planning and scheduling work activities for the maintenance teams. This is a highly critical role with the core responsibility of delivering detailed work orders that include all the tasks, parts and resources required for optimized, safe and accurate work execution by maintenance technicians and delivering a detailed schedule that is coordinated between manufacturing and maintenance while also responsible for optimizing the schedule based on labor, equipment, and facility constraints in a cGMP biotechnology facility.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing and administering all work order requests in the Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for the site
- Communicates with requester to determine total scope of work and priority of the work to be performed.
- Receives all written and electronic customer work requests
- Visit the job area to assess the scope of work
- Determine and outline the tasks required to complete the work
- Determine and purchase required parts
- Determines appropriate craft, number of craft, labor group and estimated completion time
- Ensures every maintenance task performed is planned ensuring safety and quality
- Keeps requester informed as to the status of the work order until completion.
- Coordinates the preventive maintenance tracking and documentation programs
- Review scope and frequency of assignments with the manager/system owner and implement changes where required.
- Identifies resources and materials required implement the requested work
- May verify the availability of those resources prior to scheduling the work or arranges for appropriate alternatives
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and error-proofing habits
- Knowledge of facility and manufacturing process and ability to problem solve across functional units.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management system preferably MAXIMO, Maximo experience is highly needed (experience with other maintenance management systems is OK but Maximo experience will stand out and be highly preferred)
Basic Qualifications:
- High school/GED + 4 years of Engineering or maintenance planning and/or scheduling experience OR
- Associates + 2 years of Engineering or maintenance planning and/or scheduling experience OR Bachelors + 6 months of Engineering or maintenance planning and/or scheduling experience OR Master's
Compensation:
The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
