This position is responsible for planning & scheduling aircraft maintenance events in a timely and cost effective manner. Responsible for review and scheduling of tasks in the computerized maintenance tracking system. Responsible for assisting Fleet Maintenance Coordinators as well as the Director, Fleet Maintenance in scheduled aircraft maintenance events. Maintain budgetary reporting and scheduling data as required. Report aircraft down time and financial requirements to the appropriate internal and external customers. This position is responsible for assuring the Company's goals for safety, security, and quality are met by continual compliance with the Company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process any non-compliance observations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist out based maintenance technicians with request for quotes, vendor selection and on issues that may come up during the accomplishment of the scheduled maintenance events, typically at Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) locations.
- Negotiate preliminary and final invoices for fair and equitable charges including warranty and/or other EJM discounts.
- Manage a system of cost savings and avoidance by ensuring maintenance plans are adhered to, vendors are held accountable and outbased Maintenance Technicians are correctly managing their assigned aircraft for maximum savings to the owner.
- Perform duties as required for the Maintenance Managers, Maintenance Directors, and the SVP of Maintenance to include representing EJM at OEM locations, FBOs and/or onsite with owner aircraft.
- Investigate aircraft maintenance issues and prepare documents for owner/company approval.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Experience in the Mxi Tracking Program or similar maintenance tracking program.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Owners, Flight Crews, Vendors and Internal Departments about scheduled and unscheduled maintenance planning.
- Represent EJM professionally on the phone and on site with OEMs, vendors and flight departments.
- Travel could be in excess of 180 days per year.
