The Role:
We are seeking a Maintenance Planner who will be responsible for scheduling and planning all preventive and predictive maintenance task on equipment
Work Location: On-Site in Bowling Green, Ohio
What will you do?
- Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Manage the SAP Maintenance Module.
- Schedule predictive and preventive maintenance tasks according to priorities, skills, and parts availability.
- Organize work order flow, documentation, spare parts inventory, and reporting procedures.
- Perform additional duties as determined to coincide with PM responsibilities.
- Conduct training in the use of the SAP PM Module.
- Conduct training for various preventive maintenance actions.
- Manage Maintenance Technical Library.
- Provide current KPI reports to Maintenance Manager
- Work with Production Team Coaches to schedule PM inspections.
- Ensure that random follow-up inspections are performed on completed PM's.
- Schedule performance of predictive maintenance such as Vibration Analysis, Oil analysis, and infrared analysis
- Develop and maintain Daily Pre-op and PM inspections on all equipment.
- Ensure that all documentation is maintained in accordance with GKN Driveline policies and procedures.
- Coordinate machine acceptance and transfer inspections.
- Work with Parts Stores to develop PM kits.
- Develop reports for individual machine trend analysis.
- Manage small tool management program.
- Perform PM audits.
What are we looking for?
Experience:
- Must have a thorough and complete understanding of CMMS program, (SAP)
- Have a good understanding of Every Angle software.
- 3-5 years work experience corresponding with above qualifications and the essential competencies, knowledge and skills.
Criteria:
- Ability to create database programs, charts, reports and spreadsheets utilizing MS Excel and Access programs.
- Possess strong supervisory and organizational skills.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of the manufacturing and maintenance environment and an understanding of common maintenance terminology.
- Understand the fundamental principles of continuous improvement.
