Position Objective:
R&M expense performance tracking with monthly updates. Ensure the CMMS data is properly maintained to allow Mainsaver to measurably improve the maintenance department’s effectiveness. Use working knowledge of spare parts, processes, computer programs, and vendor relationships to keep Mainsaver data current and useful. Ensure proper levels of maintenance parts and supplies are maintained at all times. Maintain Equipment PM documentation and coordinate annual review of PMs.

Regulatory Requirements
- Will ensure all safety PMs for any systems are properly documented and on-line.
- Proficient at pulling any records and verifying work is correctly documented for all safety and regulatory audits.
- Manage process to control and document any chemicals being brought into plant by maintenance and ensure all SQF requirements are met.
Customer Requirements
- Coordinate & communicate with production and other departments as needed.
- Work with other departments as needed to eliminate chronic problems.
- Provide regular work order status and scheduling reports.
- Communicate and build relationships with Suppliers/Contractors and be able to hold them accountable for meeting business expectations.
Financial Control
- Communicate R&M expense by department through Excel spreadsheets or Maximo reports.
- Ensure all purchase requisitions are tracked.
- Procure parts & services at the best quality and price.
Inventory Control
- Maintain critical spare parts inventory.
- Maintain appropriate levels of parts inventory.
Troubleshooting
- Data mine Mainsaver records to determine root cause of chronic problems to reduce downtime.
- Find and propose solutions for improving the plant focusing on maintenance processes.
Technical Support
- Provide troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical support to plant personnel as needed related to Mainsaver.
Asset Maintenance
- Coordinate effective asset maintenance processes such as PM schedules and completion tracking, corrective work orders, root cause failure analysis, and overhauls to maximize equipment performance through proper use of CMMS.
- Effectively maintain the CMMS system to ensure functionality and utilization across the site.

A COMBINATION OF THE LISTED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
- High school diploma.
- 2-5 years of experience in a production environment, (food manufacturing) preferred.
- Parts ordering and cost control experience
- Good oral and communication skills.
- Experience utilizing a CMMS software system.
- Able to read and write English.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Food Safety/HACCP training.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Light travel.

The employee occasionally works in high places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, allergens, extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee will be required to operate a forklift.
