We are seeking a new Team Member who will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment for the oil field operation in Portland, TX.

Position Summary:
The successful I & E Technician candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Savage Maintenance Program. You will be responsible for all maintenance and electrical work at our Savage Gulf Rail Terminal
Here is what you will be doing:

• Must exhibit knowledge of high voltage switchgear, motors, PLC logic, instrumentation, switches, controls and other electrical components in an industrial setting.
• Electrical certifications a plus;
• Work a flexible work schedule;
• Work safely both with and without supervision;
• A solid team player with demonstrable abilities to work with other team members;
• Willing to do any task(s) that require(s) attention;

What traits and skills will make this Team Member successful?

• 5+ years of industrial electrician experience
• Able to read, write and understand English:
• Basic math skills;
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions;
• Read and comprehend electrical drawings;
• Follow safe work practices both with and without supervision;
• Industrial or Refinery experience a plus;
• AB both switch gear and logic a plus;
• Multi skilled in other disciplines a plus;
• Basic computer (XP, windows, excel, ect) a must
