Responsibilities:
Manage inventory control and logistics activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products.
Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies to support production schedules.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and shipments using computerized systems and manual logs.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
Monitor and maintain proper storage conditions for materials, including temperature and humidity control, to prevent damage and deterioration.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, machinery, and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment failures, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules and manufacturer's recommendations.
Assist in facility improvements, renovations, and construction projects as needed.
Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for all employees and visitors.
Support other departments and team members as needed to achieve company goals and objectives.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Certification or training in logistics, warehouse management, or facilities maintenance.
Experience working with computerized inventory management systems.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures, including handling of hazardous materials and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment for maintenance and repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
