• Looking for a safety-focused Maintenance and Engineering Manager who can lead our maintenance and capital functions with a keen focus on equipment reliability. The individual will play a crucial role in managing our annual department budget, overseeing contractors, and ensuring optimal HS&E performance of the maintenance department.

Responsibilities
• Implementing and maintaining a high standard of HS&E performance across all maintenance and capital functions.
• Ensuring equipment reliability while managing costs and resources effectively.
• Balancing the need for immediate response to maintenance issues with the long-term goals of preventive maintenance and system improvement.
• Managing a diverse team of maintenance and reliability engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.

• Achieve and maintain optimal equipment reliability and HS&E performance.
• Successfully manage and oversee all plant maintenance, capital investment, utilities management, and MRO inventory.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance management systems.

• A well-maintained and reliable manufacturing facility that meets or exceeds all HS&E standards.
• Comprehensive reports on plant maintenance, capital investment, utilities management, and MRO inventory.

Qualifications
• Education and experience
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Extensive experience in maintenance management and capital functions, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience managing diverse teams and fostering a positive work environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, and HACCP programs would be advantageous.
• Technical skills
• Proficiency in using a CMMS with SAP or a similar system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in relation to equipment reliability and maintenance issues.
• Knowledge of industry-standard manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
