Maintenance Coordinator/Assistant Property Manager

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Maintenance Coordinator/Assistant Property Managerin Austin, TX! This position will oversee the ongoing condition of the owner’s properties in such a way to preserve and enhance the owner’s capital investment. These responsibilities include taking care of properties throughout the footprint, ensuring tenant satisfaction, coordinating and performing in house maintenance and repairs, assisting in budgeting and financial reporting, and communicating effectively with tenants, vendors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Up to 50% travel required; some overnight travel. Company vehicle provided. Travel expenses paid.

• Coordinate with facilities director, management, and Property Managers as it relates to maintenance, repairs, and renovations for owned or leased properties
• Maintain business operations and property records
• Work with department personnel, contractors, and vendors to maintain building systems and maintenance services and supervise repairs
• Conduct maintenance and repairs when needed
• Along with facilities director, will monitor and enforce compliance with rental agreements, lease terms, and applicable laws and regulations
• Oversee tenant move-in and move-out processes
• Respond to maintenance and repair requests, tenant inquiries, and complaints in a timely manner
• Inspect vacant units and assist in project management of renovations
• Help set up new locations and decommission locations as needed.

Education / Experience Preferred:

• Four years of prior property management, maintenance, and/or project management experience
• High school diploma required; Associate’s Bachelor’s degree a plus
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Strong customer service skills
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
