Responsibilities- Receives and verifies invoices and requisitions for goods and services
- Prepares, verifies and processes invoices and coding payment documents
- Prepares batches of invoices for data entry; corrects any errors
- Updates manifest, billing, invoicing and reconciliations
- Prepares invoice approvals, purchase requisitions, and limited purchase orders
- Maintains vehicle history records, unit change records, tire records, and brake lining records; posts daily mileage of vehicles along with fuel and oil consumed.
- Prepares monthly reports of the balance of fuel and oil consumed and tire mileage data.
- Prepares monthly production reports including defects, road calls, brake adjustments, bus schedules, mechanics available for work, and inspections
- Researches and compiles data/information for preparation and tracking of the department's operating budget.
- Maintains confidentiality of all information
- Other duties as required.
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license
Experience:
- 2-4 years of related clerical experience with some knowledge of statistical reporting and computers
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- General knowledge of office equipment
- Good written and oral communications skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to analyze data and present data in a clear and concise manner in both report and graphical form
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions, short correspondence and memos
Travel requirement (as a percent): <5% for occasional meetings

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
- Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
- The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
