Mailroom Clerk, Auxiliary Services

The Mailroom Clerk will receive, log, and deliver daily mail and shipments arriving on campus to their respective departments.

Daily Responsibilities

• Drive a vehicle in the retrieval and distribution of campus and U.S. mail and packages
• Collect, sort and deliver campus and U.S. mail
• Operates postage meter machine and package receiving software
• Process all incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Assist students, faculty and staff with mailroom services
• Answer mailroom phone calls and emails
• Maintains current knowledge of postal rules and regulations
• Assist supervisor with periodic inventory of supplies
• Assist supervisor with periodic vehicle(s) maintenance needs
• Assist Copy Center with delivery of print/copy jobs and supplies requests, as needed
• Perform other initiatives as required
• Attend training and special functions as needed

Education and Experience:A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required, with 1+ years of working experience preferred.
