Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this position successfully, a team member must perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. - Produce machined parts by loading program, setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.
- Perform typical machine shop operations such as milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding
- Understand and perform basic powering up and off of machines, load CNC programs, robot / automation, start CNC and related equipment into cycle
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously in a work area
- Maintain process & specifications by observing robotic and automated areas; detect any malfunctions; troubleshoot processes; adjust and reprogram points as needed
- Visually inspect and utilize required inspection equipment, fluid levels and gauges
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures
- Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results)
- Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
- Maintain continuity between work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
