Machine Assembly Technician

Rockford Manufacturing Group (RMG) is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of wire processing machinery that is sold worldwide.

Due to growth and higher production demands, we are looking for an experienced Machine Assembly Technician to work within our assembly team. In this role, you will be building, wiring, and troubleshooting our machines that are sold into the wire industry to draw and cut wire.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembling and wiring our machinery
• Ability to interpret mechanical prints
• Familiar with electrical wiring basics
• Assist with troubleshooting during initial testing.
• MS Windows experience

Minimum Skills Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• You must have mechanical assembly experience
• Technical or trade school a plus
• Familiar with mechanical assembly and wiring
• Must be able to read paperwork, prints, and routings
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, MS Office, ERP usage)
• Dependable, with clean attendance record

Physical Abilities:

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Standing, lifting, carrying, and stooping or kneeling
• Frequent reaching, bending

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
