Job Description
We are seeking a highly capable Field Service Technician to join our team and play a critical role in supporting our customers worldwide. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and field service to our clients, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
**Job located in Wauconda, IL**
Responsibilities:
- Conducting onsite installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment.
- Responding to customer inquiries and providing technical support via phone or email.
- Maintaining accurate service records and reports.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Demonstrating and training customers on the use and maintenance of our equipment.
- Collaborating with our engineering and manufacturing teams to provide feedback on product performance and improvements.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings
- Utilize various measuring devices
- Travel to various customer locations both domestic & international (does include a premium rate)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machinery or other related fields is a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Team player able to assist & support others in a growing environment
- Strong Computer & communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Self Starter, ability to travel and work independently
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Passport (or ability to secure a US passport)
- Engineering degree a plus
