M365 Administrator and Help Desk Support

THE POSITION:
As an M365 Administrator and Service Desk Specialist at STACK Infrastructure, you will be responsible for both the administration of the Microsoft 365 environment and providing efficient support to end-users through our service desk. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills. This includes a comprehensive understanding of services like Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, SSO, MFA, and related components.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. M365 Infrastructure Management (50%):
  • Provision, configure, and maintain Microsoft 365 services, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Administer user accounts, groups, and roles within the M365 environment.
  • Implement and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Monitor system health, conduct audits, and implement improvements for optimal performance.
2. Endpoint Management (25%):
  • Configure and manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune).
  • Implement device profiles, application deployments, and security policies for Windows and macOS platforms.
  • Implement and manage security solutions for endpoints, including antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools.
3. Service Desk Support (25%):
  • Provide level 1 and level 2 technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving M365 and endpoint-related issues.
  • Document support activities and resolutions and maintain a knowledge base for common issues.
  • Respond to service desk tickets promptly, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
4. Identity and Access Management:
  • Administer user accounts, groups, and roles within the M365 environment.
  • Implement and manage identity and access solutions, including SSO and MFA.
5. Exchange Online and OneDrive for Business Administration:
  • Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, distribution groups, and public folders.
  • Administer OneDrive for Business accounts, storage quotas, and access permissions.
6. Application Deployment:
  • Package, deploy, and manage applications using modern deployment tools within Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Ensure software compliance and license management.
7. User Training and Communication:
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to empower users to leverage M365 tools effectively.
  • Communicate system updates, changes, and best practices to end-users.
8. Collaboration with IT Team:
  • Work closely with other IT teams to integrate M365 services with existing systems and applications.
  • Assist in planning and executing technology upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
THE DETAILS:
  • Location: Denver, CO
  • Domestic Travel: 10%
  • Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000/year + Bonus
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass a comprehensive background screening
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with M365 administration, particularly in Exchange Online, MS Teams, SSO, MFA, and End Point Management.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and customization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze and revise standards as well as processes and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all international organizations and different levels of technical and managerial personnel.
  • Skill in providing exceptional customer service.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a SharePoint Administrator or in a similar role, focusing on SharePoint Online.
  • Certifications in one or more of the following disciplines are preferred: Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Azure, ITIL V2/3 Foundation, MCSA/MCSE certifications, or comparable experience.
