```Job Overview:```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the communication needs of patient and family; provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with physicians and team members about changes in patient’s clinical condition.
Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
```Responsibilities:```
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans
- Perform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimens
- Provide wound care and dressings
- Assist with family planning services
- Perform medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
