Job Summary:
Contribute to the execution of the Arkema Inc. Organic Peroxide Sales and Operations plan that supports the BU Service Offer (sales plans and service expectations) at the lowest cost. Utilizes MRP, SAP and TMS tools to execute the shipping schedule and prepare shipping documents adhering to DOT, IATA and IMDG regulations. Coordinates planning and shipping in alignment with the logistics strategy and BU Service Offer. Tracks appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement including but not limited to inventory management, on-time shipping, and working capital. Acts as the fleet coordinator for the Arkema Inc. low-temp trailer units at the site.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Fleet Management (20%)
- Manages low-temp trailer units at Crosby site. Monitors physical inventory movement between units and cold warehouses within the Crosby site.
- Tracks unit status at the Crosby site and coordinates domestic movements.
- Actively schedules and tracks movement of low-temp trailers between Crosby and Coatza sites.
- Provides low-temp trailer status reports to Customers and Arkema team members as required.
Shipping and receiving (60%)
- Oversees and prioritizes daily activities of the Logistics team members
- Participates in site safety inspection program with Site Manager to ensure logistics team members employees work safely and adhere to safe work practices and procedures
- Performs Accident/Incident investigations as directed and enters incident information into Atlas database
- Primary point of contact for cold temperature shipments out of Crosby to customer locations, and between Crosby and Coatza. Monitors driver schedules to ensure available driver pool can support requested shipments. Acts as communication link between EcoShield dispatchers and business team during crisis management. Ensures drivers have completed OP safety training and tracks sign offs. Coordinates driver and trailer schedule with Coatza team to support inventory moves.
- Primary point of contact for Customer Service for matters related to shipment and receiving scheduling and execution for domestic as well as international shipments departing or arriving at Crosby. Resolve and communicate urgent issues and resource prioritization. Maintain knowledge of product specifications and customer receiving requirements.
- Manages routing of shipments, special delivery requirements and identifies opportunities to consolidate LTL and TL orders to reduce costs. Resolves delivery issues in a timely manner.
- Ensures plant DOT and forklift training is conducted as required to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinates all sample shipments out of Crosby site. Closely works with Customer Service, Supply Chain and logistics teams on sample timing and fulfilment.
- Provides shipment scheduling support for other FA sites as requested, providing short-term assistance during periods of vacation or illness.
Site inventory processes (20%)
- SAP and OTM/TMS system power user for shipping process and goods receipts for Crosby site. Coaches site logistics team on error resolution within SAP.
- Monitors stock rotation of finished goods (FIFO) utilizing SAP tools. Facilitates relabeling of goods as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate tracking and SAP posting for inventory movements.
- Ensure required cycle counts are scheduled, executed and documented according to Arkema policies.
- As requested, provides support for third-party warehouse and vendor inventories. May include performing annual inventory counts, prompt resolution of discrepancies, and information flow to customer service related to impacts on customer shipments.
- As requested, assist with oversight of third-party vendor schedules. May include: monitoring inventory postings and accuracy for packaging, setting the packaging schedule according to material needs, provides orders to vendors, verifying invoices, and ensuring raw material, packaging and labels are available to support the packaging schedule.
- Works with the plant team on improvement activities as requested.
Minimum Qualifications and Education Required:
- 3 to 5 years experience in supply chain
- Bachelors in Supply Chain Management preferred or equivalent in experience.
- General knowledge of trade compliance, and DOT/IARA/IMDG hazardous material regulations.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
- Supports the site HESQ policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements
- Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)
- Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
- Supports activities of the site hurricane plan as directed by the Site Manager
- Not more than 10% travel required.
- Role is located at Crosby, TX, site, with expectation to be on-site at least 4 days per week, unless otherwise directed by the Crosby Site Manager and Supply Chain Manager
