• This role is a member of the Strategy and Planning within the People team.
• Responsible for leading key People all hands events, while coordinating internal and external events and data tracking.

What you'll do

• Provide daily logistic support to the department for all aspects of Strategy and Planning office.
• Proactively coordinate internal and external events aimed at facilitating engagement and discussion related to various People initiatives and projects across all COEs.
• Lead and support key elements of People team initiatives with an eye for excellence and high elevation.
• Leverage processes, tools, and reports to accurately capture key metrics of activities to help managers integrate planning and process improvement to set, manage and achieve targets.
• Utilize reports, data, and presentations for leadership to create transparency and visibility and effectively communicate status of work.
• Represent American Airlines in various functions to support COEs leaders and CPO.
• Project manage key People events.

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• High School diploma or GED equivalency plus
• 2 years of engagement strategy
• 2 years of project and/or event planning

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent years of experience, knowledge of vendor management
• Previous airline experience

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Well-organized with an ability to create and implement structure and process
• Ability to listen to vision and translate conceptual thinking to actionable plan
• Effectiveness in communicating and engaging with the ability to influence key stakeholders throughout all levels of the organization
• Efficient at working both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Willingness to challenge status quo and strive for excellence
