Description:

Position Overview: San Antonio Dodge is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to specialize in sourcing vehicles exclusively from Facebook Marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with sellers, gathering information about vehicles, and presenting these findings to the management team for decision-making. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in the automotive industry while playing a vital role in building our inventory.

Responsibilities:

Facebook Marketplace Sourcing: Actively search and identify potential vehicle listings on Facebook Marketplace that align with our dealership's needs and preferences.
Engage with vehicle sellers in a professional and courteous manner to gather essential information about the vehicles they are offering.

Information Gathering: Collect detailed information about each vehicle, including make, model, year, mileage, condition, history, and additional features.
Capture and document seller contact details, asking price, and any negotiation possibilities.

Seller Engagement: Initiate conversations with sellers to establish rapport and gather accurate vehicle descriptions.
Respond promptly to seller inquiries and maintain clear communication throughout the information-gathering process.

Data Presentation: Organize and compile the collected information into structured reports or summaries to be presented to the management team.
Clearly communicate the potential value and fit of the sourced vehicles for the dealership's inventory.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure that the gathered information supports well-informed decision-making.
Participate in regular meetings to share insights, progress, and any challenges faced during the sourcing process.

Process Improvement: Provide feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness of the sourcing process, suggesting improvements where applicable.
Contribute ideas to enhance the engagement and information-gathering approach on Facebook Marketplace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive studies is a plus.
• Strong familiarity with Facebook Marketplace and proficiency in online communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately capture and present information.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work independently within defined guidelines.
• Basic understanding of vehicle makes, models, and automotive terminology.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
