We are looking for a Logistics Coordinatorto join the US Operations Team at our new facility in Norcross, GA. As our Logistics Coordinator you will assist in the day-to-day warehouse activities and coordinate the freight delivery of products to customers across North America. You will work cross functionally with our teams to be the focal point for imports and exports.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Working with Freight Forwarding companies to book both dedicated and LTL movement from UVeye 3rd Party warehouse to the customer.
- Review and approve transportation quotes to ensure timely deliveries at the best rate installation teams using selected vendors and generating Purchase Orders to initiate the transaction.
- Be the focal point for Amazon system deliveries which includes freight delivery plan, reserving equipment, scheduling forklift operators and providing a delivery plan for management oversight. Certain sites also require the booking of dumpsters to complete site clean-up.
- Processing all import & exports shipments via UPS, FedEx, DHL and others as required.
- Work with customs brokerage firms to deliver paperwork needed to move products across borders (ex. US to Canada)
- Be able to track freight and provide delivery updates to the Operations team.
- Assist with shipping and receiving to ensure the team can meet installation delivery material and support SLA requirements to service existing systems.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure all inventory is accurately maintained in ERP (Priority) by completing necessary logistical transactions.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience working with Freight Forwarding companies to schedule shipments and analyze performance
- Basic knowledge in Excel and ERP (Priority - an advantage)
- Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading
- Ability to keep track and report activity
- Great interpersonal skills, team player, “can do” attitude
- Superb organizational skills to keep pace in a fast moving environment and ability to multi-task and problem solve with changing priorities.
- Forklift certified, with a valid drivers license.
