The Field Service Logistics Assistant’s primary responsibility is to provide logistical support to Field Service Managers, Field Service Engineers and the Inventory & Logistics staff in their related functions to better enable those personnel to provide the best service repairs available in the industry.
Duties
- Process and track transactions in the Service Management System, MIZE. Maintenance of MIZE Master Customer Data. Knowlege/prior experience of CRM (MIZE, SalesForce, etc.) type software considered a plus.
- Answer and route customer inquiries and requests for service.
- Administrative duties including processing expense/service reports, managing customer site compliance requirements, preventative maintenance visit tracking, and follow-up on oustanding returns from customers and Field Service Engineers.
- Assist Field Service Managers with creating quotations for service.
- Monitor re-order points of stock items (spare parts and consumables), tools and technician supplies. Coordinate with Inventory Specialist for procurement.
- Manage the delivery, planning and support of customer installations. Third party vendor installation coordination and tracking.
- Ablitiy to ship and receive packages. Forkcliff license is preferred.
Skills/Education
- Working knowledge oF MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) strongly preferred.
- High School/GED required, Secondary Education preferred (associate degree or Trade school Certificate).
Additional Requirements
The candidate must be able to reach above, below and at shoulder level, flex/extend the neck, and have good hand and finger dexterity. The candidate will have the ability to lift 50 pounds consistently. Specific vision abilities required for this job may include color/close/distant/peripheral vision and depth perception. In this position, you will be working in an office environment and warehouse.
