- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Prepare and submit payroll, billing, and financial statements in compliance with state regulations.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.
- Perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning tasks.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct write-up work and maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize Sage 100 Accounting Package and Excel to manage financial data effectively.
- Understanding of local and federal tax laws.
- Management of highly sensitive and confidential information.
Requirements:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Proficiency in Sage 100 Accounting Package and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work from home as needed.
- Strong planning and organization skills; dependable and punctual
- Must have a full understanding of the full life-cycle of accounting from the opening of a financial period to close
- 5+ years of verifiable evolving experience in payroll, accounts receivable/payable, account reconciliation, benefits, and report filing.
- Must have critical thinking skills.
- Must have auditing and compilation experience.
Additional Information:
- Salary range: $85,000 to $100,000 per year
- Full-time position with benefits
