Job Description
We are currently looking to bring an experienced Loan Servicing Specialist onto our team of top performers. The ideal candidate is someone both reliable and self-driven. They must possess a "can-do" attitude, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. They must also be willing to go above and beyond to ensure that the “wow” factor is provided to each of our clients, on every single transaction.
The Loan Servicing Specialist will assist in day-to-day business practices and as such, each day will look a little different. Job responsibilities involve working on and managing:
- Process Originations (New Loans) and closing documents
- Communicate with Loan Officers, title companies and legal as needed
- Prepare Payoffs & Payoff Requests
- Generate Auto Extends
- Process release of liens and verification of mortgages
- Process Interest refunds
- Perform Quickbooks functions for cross-team support
- Prepare weekly Funding / Payoff Reports
- Doc preparation for Banks
- Responsible for prompt and accurate research and response to customer's servicing questions and concerns to ensure resolution
- Properly document each customer’s interaction in the servicing system
- Explain loan payment histories using basic accounting and mathematical concepts and request corrections when necessary
- Email Statement of Accounts and Payment Statements to active borrowers
The ideal candidate MUST:
- Possess Associate's Degree at minimum
- 2+ years experience in servicing and processing loans
- Show strong attention to detail and adherence to timelines
- Be able to work both collaboratively and independently
- Possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Be proficient working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience a plus!)
- Be able to demonstrate mastery of basic bookkeeping skills
Job Type – Full Time & On Site
Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 annually with access to plans for medical, dental, vision and PTO
