Loan Operations Servicing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Operations Servicing Specialist to join our growing team. The Loan Operations Specialist is responsible for the funding, booking, and servicing of loans in a high risk, high production environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Book new, renewed, or modified loans to Jack Henry Silverlake
• Create the Customer Information File (CIF) and verify the appropriate information.
• Disburse loan proceeds and make the appropriate debit and credit entries to general ledger account.
• Validate post-closing ticklers are updated.
• Daily Balancing of previous days processing
• Post payments and/or advances
• Billing/ auto debit setup requests
• Complete and/or approve Payoff requests.
• Research posting issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain high level of accuracy and working knowledge of user needs.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements
• Maintain knowledge of current Loan Policies and Procedures
• Process paid loans
• Provide general back-up as needed within the Loan Operations Area and provide additional requests as necessary.
• Assist internal as well as external customers in a timely manner.

Your Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of commercial booking and/or servicing experience.
• Must have exceptional skills posting to and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and all other Microsoft applications
• Ability to learn new systems and understand additional bank system functionality.
• Must possess exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and exercise extreme attention to detail.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to complete daily tasks as needed.
• Must be able to lift 20-30 lbs. in an office setting.
