Loan Processor

Responsibilities:
- Review loan applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Verify borrower information, including employment, income, credit history, and assets
- Analyze financial statements and credit reports to determine borrower's creditworthiness
- Prepare loan files for underwriting and submit to appropriate departments for approval
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and other parties involved in the loan process to gather necessary information and resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Coordinate with escrow agents, title companies, and other third parties to ensure timely closing of loans
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including Fair Housing regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in loan processing or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with bank policies and procedures related to loan origination and processing
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: $28.73 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Loan processing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Collateral: 2 years (Preferred)
