This position must accurately process home Equity Loan applications within stated guidelines and timeframes. The results are completing sound loan files, developing a good member/credit union relationship, and increasing credit union assets.
This position reports directly to the Lending Center Manager. Keeping up with volume and prioritizing tasks appropriately is a challenge in this position. Completing time-sensitive documents and projects is required. Researching problems with existing loans and communicating them with the member, loan officer or with an attorney is required. In processing, the individual must review documentation and obtain what is needed to clear the loan or to do the closing package.
This position is responsible for teller activity on members' accounts, withdrawing checks from general ledger accounts for various fees, and at times, doing accounts payable for the department expenses.
