You'll handle the entire loan process, from contract to close. Responsibilities will include thoroughly compiling information, responding to questions from applicants and underwriters, and resolving last-minute issues so mortgage applications are filed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
•Give detailed loan packages to the lender underwriting department and obtain approval or denial. When issues arise, communicate with underwriters and borrowers to make sure conditions are satisfied
•Maintain detailed documentation of the loan process in our system - from origination to close
•Obtain all necessary property and loan documentation for every file, including evidence of insurance, verification of employment, payoffs, credit supplements, tax transcripts, condo questionnaires, title work, and subordination requests and to make sure the loan process goes smoothly
•Handle all borrower communication from the point of contract to closing the loan
•Manage a loan pipeline and maintain an efficient and compliant flow through the loan process
Qualifications
•At least 2 years mortgage processing experience, preferably 5+ years
•Has worked in a lender's environment and has experience using Encompass LOS software
•Current or previous experience as a Processor, LOA, Loan Partner, Loan Officer, and/or Underwriter
•Can correctly analyze and interpret income, and asset documents, credit reports, and the variety of ways to structure a loan
•Strong knowledge of Mortgage Loan products (FHA/VA/CONV/USDA) and knowledge of mortgage documentation, procedures, and processes
