A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LMS TRAINING SPECIALIST
In this LMS Training Specialist role, you will maintain the content within the LMS by monitoring, posting, and updating course materials courses and supplemental information. You will provide technical support for the LMS system by troubleshooting problems, and maintaining the sites performance. This role will maintain training records, including attendance, assessment results and retraining requirements. You will assist with multimedia (audio/video) content creation for training and operations initiatives and support and contribute to content and training design plans and structure. Additionally, this role will support the training departments day to day administrative needs including organization, scheduling meetings, and logistics support.
The objective of this role is to coordinate online training programs and manage data and documentation associated with the Learning Management System (LMS), while supporting the training department and assisting with the development and implementation of training materials.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LMS TRAINING SPECIALIST
- Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- Minimum 1-year related experience
- 1-2 years restaurant leadership experience and/or restaurant training experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft office, word, Excel outlook and PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe InDesign or Articulate 360 a plus.
- Knowledge of restaurant training systems preferred.
- Experience maintaining LMS content, posing and updating course materials preferred.
- Experience with a chain restaurant brand preferred.
