We are looking for a talented Litigation Paralegal to join our expanding legal team.
To be the right fit, you should be proficient in both state and federal civil litigation and have a passion for accuracy and keeping everything organized. If you like problem-solving and can take the initiative to ensure a case moves forward, you will find this role fulfilling.

Compensation:$60,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities:- Prepare and send legal correspondence as directed by attorneys
- Organize documents and prepare a document log for the case
- Assist hearings and trials
- Assure that the Firm’s litigation calendars are accurately maintained and organized
- Calculate deadlines for litigation cases
- Assure that the dockets are in order
- Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process servers
- Prepare and draft discovery and discovery responses
- Gather information about legal issues from the client in interviews and organize the information
- Set up hearings, communicate with courts, prepare the notice, and prepare hearing binders
- Help lawyers prepare for trial/hearings by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnesses
- Check and communicate local rules and judge's orders regarding notice requirements and hearings
- Communicate with clients and courts
- Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills and time-management skills
- Strong tech skills
- A strong team player
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and talent for writing and grammar
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in civil litigation
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is strongly preferred but not necessary
- Candidate must be familiar with TRCP/Federal Procedures
- Candidate must be a good communicator
