Job Description
Musick, Peeler & Garrett LLP has an opening available for a Litigation Legal Assistant with 5+ years of Labor & Employment experience to join their Los Angeles office. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and is a hybrid position (1 day work from home after 90-days), with hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Requirements:
This position requires solid knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing rules and procedures with a strong litigation background that includes e-filing and calendaring experience. Must have knowledge of preparing tables of contents and authorities. Must have excellent proofreading and writing skills, and great attention to detail. Excellent administrative, follow-up, initiative, and organizational skills are required. Excellent typing, formatting, and computer software skills needed with specific knowledge of Word 2010 or higher, Outlook, and iManage or similar document management system. Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Kofax, and CCC Macros is a plus.
