Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant

AlderLaw, PC is looking for a highly motivated, exceptional Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assisntant Hybrid to join our Team! AlderLaw is a fast-paced, team oriented environment where the Litigation Paralegal will work closely with our talented attorneys providing support during litigation.

Alderlaw, PC represent seriously injured people in litigation involving catastrophic injuries, wrongful death and business torts. Heavily invested in staff and technology, we provide the highest quality legal representation to our clients. Our comprehensive approach has resulted in an outstanding rate of success, including dozens of multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

Responsibilities include:

• Initial pleading and filing
• Propounding and responding to discovery
• Drafting motions
• Assisting with preparing pre-trial and trial documents
• Coordinating expert witness depositions
• Assisting attorneys with their calendars and preparation for appearances
• Regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner
• Drafting and handling correspondence and email
• Other duties as appropriately assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience
• Must be adept in CA Code of Civil Procedure and Local Rules, and CRM/CMS
• Experience with e-filing in state/federal courts
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite

Pay: $75,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
