SalaryLancaster law firm is looking for a highly self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, bilingual-preferred (Spanish) Legal Assistant for an in-person position, and who is able to start right away.
Successful candidate will be able to thrive in a busy professional/legal setting, works well with others, has excellent oral and written communication skills, is able to efficiently multitask and prioritize tasks, and is eager to learn and grow in the firm.
Knowledge and experience in handling Family Law cases and/or general Civil Litigation matters a huge plus. Needs to have familiarity with drafting pleadings and forms, propounding and responding to discovery, filing documents with the Courts, knowledge of local Court rules, calendaring hearings and keeping track of deadlines, trial preparation and overall case file management for a substantial case load. Hours M-F 8:30a – 5:30p.
