High-Energy Lawyer with a Focus on Business Protection and Litigation

At Texas Tires, we are seeking a skilled lawyer to join our team and play a crucial role in safeguarding our business interests, handling breach of contract cases, protecting intellectual property, and managing legal disputes. As our lawyer, you will be at the forefront of our legal operations, working closely with our team to develop proactive strategies and effectively mitigate potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct in-depth legal research, analyze case law, and stay up-to-date with industry trends to develop innovative approaches for protecting the company's interests.
· Implement preventive measures and robust processes within the organization to minimize the risk of lawsuits.
· Handle breach of contract cases, ensuring all necessary legal actions are taken to protect our rights and seek appropriate remedies. Actively engage with our business operations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our processes, and devising strategies to enhance legal protection.
· Demonstrate a hands-on approach by responding to lawsuits, filing lawsuits, preparing depositions, and working closely with witnesses.
· Maintain a strong work ethic, being present in the office Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
· Employ creative problem-solving skills to find practical and innovative solutions to legal challenges, while taking calculated risks.
· Conduct meticulous reviews of existing contracts, propose necessary changes to enhance our company's legal protection, and ensure all agreements are legally sound.
· Exhibit confidence, organization, and punctuality in all aspects of work, including regular progress updates through weekly meetings.
· Display a proactive attitude, taking ownership of legal projects and consistently delivering results without constant supervision.
· Employ creative problem-solving skills to find practical and innovative solutions to legal challenges, while taking calculated risks.
(Highly preferred)
· Possess a passion for the automotive industry, utilizing industry-specific knowledge to effectively handle breach of contract lawsuits and insurance disputes.
Qualifications:
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
· Admission to the state bar association and in good standing.
· Experience in business protection, litigation, or related legal fields is preferred, but not essential.
· Results-driven individuals with a passion for learning will also be considered.
· Exceptional analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach to contract review and legal strategy.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective representation of the company in negotiations and legal proceedings.
· Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in legal research and case management tools
· A high level of motivation, resilience, and the ability to work under pressure.
