Litigation Associate - Newly Admitted, Hours 9-6, No Billable Requirem

We are looking for a Newly Admitted attorney to join our firm:

A small general practice law firm with emphasis on civil litigation and NY No-Fault collections, located in Industry City, Brooklyn, is seeking a Newly Admitted associate attorney. The duties consist of drafting letters, motions, oppositions, affidavits, discovery demands, discovery responses, and appeals; handling (virtually and in person) motion arguments, appeal arguments, court conferences and general court appearances as well as occasional virtual arbitration appearances. Strong writing and legal research skills are a must. Candidates also must have strong work ethics, be punctual, able to multitask, work in a fast paced work environment, meet multiple deadlines and have strong interpersonal skills. The associate will also have an opportunity to assist with the firm’s general practice matters on as needed basis.

This is a full time position, requiring office presence full time (5 days a week) during the training period with an option of switching to a 3 days in-office/2 days remote work schedule once training is completed. Hours are 9am - 6pm. We do not have a billable hour requirement.

All candidates must be licensed and admitted to practice in New York.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually (plus fee share for work brought into the firm)
