LEGAL ASSISTANT
A congenial and busy in-house litigation department, for one of the largest providers of title insurance in the world, is seeking an experienced legal assistant to join its litigation department located in Irvine.
Candidates should have a minimum of two to five years prior experience with California courts, including appellate work and familiarity with pleading, motion practice, discovery, and other filings. Candidate must also have excellent communication and organizational skills; a self-starter; has ability to work well independently and in a team environment; and the ability to prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision.
Also, the candidate must be familiar with State and Federal procedures and local rules, including e-filing and e-service, and TOA/TOC. This office is working in a paperless environment so excellent technology skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Westlaw and other litigation related computer software and programs also required. This position supports 3-4 attorneys.
Title, appeal, and real estate litigation experience is a PLUS. Hourly range $35.00 - $42.00 depending upon experience. 40 hour work week.
