HIGH POINT Liquor is looking for energetic, motivated, honest and passionate people to work as a Part Time Liquor Store Clerk that may be familiar with the sale of liquor, wine, international coffee and fine cigars. Responsibilities will include learning about spirits, cigars, wine and beers, inventory control, analyzing sales and traffic trends, Positions in our Magnolia location on the corner of FM 2978 and Research in the Woodlands/Magnolia area of Montgomery County, TX now available!
Liquor Store Clerk Tasks:
- Operate electronic cash register without errors.
- Assist customers with purchase of spirits and offer suggestions.
- Develop trust and build a positive relationship with our team and customers.
- Keep a clean store and back office during work hours
- Ability to work 4pm to 9pm (Monday - Saturday).
- Communicates regularly manager and ownership.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of Liquor Store experience (PREFERRED).
- GREAT AND PLEASANT ATTITUDE.
- Ability to Work with all types of people
- Must be over 21 years of age.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Observe and responds to customer needs and requests.
- General knowledge of alcoholic beverages and other items and their location on the sales floor.
- Ensure, enforce and adhere to all industry law regulations and company policies.
- Establish and maintain positive and effective business relations with customers, employees and all suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven customer service experience.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
- Works well in a team environment and with management.
- Communicates effectively.
- Makes positive impression with customers and shows a high quality of customer service.
