We are looking for a Prep Cook to join our casual dining restaurant. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing food items according to the recipe and the standards of our restaurant. We're looking for a team player who is passionate about cooking and creating wonderful dishes for our customers. If you're energetic, friendly, and flexible, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Follow food safety guidelines while using all kitchen equipment.
- Follow recipes correctly and consistently.
- Properly store all food, which must be covered, dated and rotated on a daily basis to ensure proper portion control and quality.
- Oversee that all food prepared is of consistently high quality and that portions are consistently controlled.
- Use basic kitchen tools and utensils.
- Clean and store kitchen equipment.
- All other related responsibilities assigned by management.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
