Job Summary:

The Sign and Lighting Maintenance Technician is involved in the direct repair and maintenance of electrical signs for both interior and exterior lighting. This includes changing out Cooler lights, Exit Signs, emergency lighting as well as any exterior sign, neon repairs, and Electrical lighting trouble shooting.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive daily work schedule and travel to off-site locations in order to repair, inspect, troubleshoot, or clean signs and lighting as noted on the work order at multiple sites for multiple customers.
• Maintaining your own equipment, inventory and vehicles. Following PM schedules, battery maintenance of scissor lifts, and reporting on DVIR issues.
• Be able to work overtime and/or on call as workload and emergency issues dictate. The nature of the remote tech environment will require on call times throughout the month.
• Always follow safety procedures and utilize proper PPE.

Job Specifications:

• Experience: Experience driving a bucket truck/similar vehicle, utilizing a scissor lift, and utilizing a towing a trailer required. Experience in sign and lighting repair/maintenance or related field preferred. Ability to lift, lower or maneuver items up to 50lbs and to climb ladders / enter enclosed spaces
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, preferably dispatching software knowledge
• Valid Driver’s License
• DOT Medical Card (All Field Technicians will undergo a DOT Physical as part of their onboarding process)
