This role will be located at our facility in Elkton, Maryland.
Please note that evening, night and weekend shift positions are eligible for an additional $2/hour shift differential pay (in California, the shift differential pay is $2.40/hour).

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment in a regulated clean room environment and at times in chemical enclosures
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment, evaluating effectiveness (content and frequency), and making necessary changes following our quality system guidelines.
- Work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and quality system to document completed maintenance activities
- Perform basic to intermediate level fabrications and machine modifications using standard machine shop equipment
- Manage contracted services to support equipment repairs, calibrations, and maintenance activities and respond to vendor equipment issues
- Support continuous improvement activities
- Drive continuous personal development aligned with current commitments and business needs
- Provide off shift and weekend support as needed as well as support other facilities
- Foster and maintain a positive and safe working environment
Required Qualifications:
- Journey level electrical skills with minimum 3 years hands-on experience in an industrial production facility including PLCs and variable speed drive
- Experience with instrumentation calibration
- Understanding and familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum systems
- Strong understanding of OSHA, NEC (National Electric Code), NFPA codes
- Desktop computer skills, including CAD to work from drawings coupled with basic understanding of networking and operating systems related to automation controls
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, mentor others, and ability to work independently
- Ability to follow written instructions and work safely, while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks while handling complex projects
- Must be able to adjust work hours which may include on call and working overtime with ability to travel up to 5%
- Must be able to lift and carry 35 lbs and pass a pre-medical clearance test
