- Implement standards of service that ensure the prompt and efficient resolution of each inquiry by customers.
- Provide assistance at all library service locations and stations.
- Offer directional and service-related information to users.
- Assist library users in person, by phone, or electronically.
- Serve in material checkout/check-in, retrieve and process reserves, billing, and missing items.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- Sort and shelve materials and maintain an orderly arrangement of materials.
- Aid in operating and basic troubleshooting of automated materials check-in, emptying and swapping materials bins, and routine maintenance.
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
- Must be available, Monday - Saturday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
- This location is not currently open on Sundays, however this is subject to change.
- Work schedules may vary due to split shifts, rotations, on-call, emergencies, etc.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- One-year of experience in a clerical or customer service environment, preferably in a library setting.
- Bilingual in Spanish.
