Library Assistant

Library Assistant responsibilities include:

Circulation procedures

Customer service: Checking out materials, searching for specific titles, assistance with computers, faxes, photocopies, and other technology

Comfortable working with children

Reference Assistance

Genealogy research assistance

Prepare overdue notices

Filing, typing, and other office work

Materials processing

Catalog magazines

Develop slides for electronic bulletin board

Assist with planning and implementing library programming

Shelving books and straightening shelves

And other duties as assigned by the Library Director

Ability to lift 30 lbs.

Comfortable with using ladders.

Flexibility is key.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.50 per hour
