Definition
Position could be scheduled to work at any library facility as well as off-site locations.
Part-time 20 hours/week position (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm)

Examples Of Duties
- Maintains confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
- Reconciles receipts daily from funds received at service points.
- Enters requisitions to pay library invoices.
- Reconciles purchases made with Library credit cards.
- Selects office supplies and places supply orders for many library departments.
- Creates a welcoming environment by greeting patrons and providing information in a friendly manner.
- Reads and responds to e-mails in a timely manner and checks online calendar daily.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Troubleshoots office equipment.
- Creates and distributes advance leave forms.
- Provides clerical support to Administrative Team as requested.
- Assist with distribution of promotional and marketing materials.
Coordinates interoffice mail delivery between the Library and City Hall.- Maintains administrative documents using applicable software; such as Microsoft Word, Access, or Excel.
- Participates in ongoing staff training and develops new work-related skills.
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with co-workers and the public.
- Assist with switchboard system as needed.
Proofreads documents as requested.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required and business school training or relevant college coursework is preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of office administration and computer experience with various software applications and/or secretarial experience. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
