Job Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate should exhibit a high attention to detail, be a team player, and demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain calendars and deadlines
Scheduling and coordinating meetings, hearings, and depositions
Organize and maintain case files, pleading/discovery indexes, exhibits, documents, etc.
Assist attorneys in preparation for court-related appearances
Manage caseload and clients under the supervision of the attorney(s)
Preparing and e-filing legal documents
Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3+ years of insurance defense litigation experience, preferred
Maintains a high degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills
Strong computer proficiency, especially with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Solid organizational skills with high attention to detail
